We arrange DEFEND Car Protect extended-warranty insurance for eligible used cars. Know the cover, terms and price in advance.
Even a thoroughly inspected car may develop a technical fault over time. For eligible vehicles, we therefore offer DEFEND Car Protect extended-warranty insurance, which can cover costs associated with an unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdown.

What extended warranty can cover
The scope depends on the selected programme, the vehicle's age, mileage and other conditions. Depending on the option, cover may include selected components of:
- the engine and transmission,
- electronics and electrical equipment,
- air conditioning,
- steering and drivetrain,
- fuel and cooling systems,
- other mechanical parts of the vehicle.
The precise list of covered components, claim limits and exclusions is always set out in the terms of the specific insurance policy.
